Prof. Roman Krivko

Institute of Slavic Studies at the University of Vienna

Professor Krivko is a Slavist philologist, graduate of the Moscow State Pedagogical University in 1994. At the same university, he obtained his doctorate in 1999 and completed his Habilitation at the Institute for Slavic Studies of the Russian Academy of Sciences in 2016. He has worked at various linguistic institutions in Russia, Austria, Germany, and the USA. Currently, he is an Associate Professor in the Department of Slavic Studies at the University of Vienna.

Professor Krivko's main academic interest lies in early Slavic linguistics, particularly Church Slavonic. In this field, he has led research projects and published numerous scholarly articles.
