Abstract

This paper presents the results of protective archaeological excavation, part of the late medieval necropolis located in Kočerin, Široki Brijeg, west Herzegovina. The research has been conducted in July 2015. Kočerin is known as a place with several medieval necropolises, indicating the dense population in the Medieval Ages. The oldest mention of name Kočerin is dated from 1404., inscripted at Viganj stećak.
